Different interrelated processes build up enrollment procedures called Enrollment System. Enrollment System is used particularly in recording and retrieving student’s information. Tracking student’s information is also one feature of Enrollment System, in which the school can trace the standing of a student. Verifying payments was also added to update or browse student’s billings. Enrollment System is a good example of a computer generated process. This can lessen the workload and provides accurate information needed of the school.

As a result, it will benefit not only the student but the administration as a whole. Enrollment System is very essential in a school. In the case of First City Providential College, it is composed of a semi manual system. Enrollment System committee uses semi manual system in recording and retrieving student’s information and documents. They also have information about student’s payment. In fact, most of the records is kept just by using paper documents and stored in a file cabinet which is troublesome and time consuming when it is needed. System Overview History:

The school started its operation on June 14, 1984 with 350 pupils offering Nursery to Grade Four. Mrs. Estrella O. Simon as the Principal with seven teachers, Ms. Leonita S. Alquisola, Ms. Sylyn B. Decena, Ms. Susan P. Carino, Mr. Pepito P. Gerona, Ms. Zenaida Y. Gerona, Ms. Visitacion L. Laciste and Mr. Gaspar V. Solis, Jr. The student population doubled on its second year with the school offering complete levels of Elementary Education with Government Recognition H-E-023. In the year 1989 Francisco Homes Learning Center changed its name to Francisco Homes Learning Academy.

This was the year that the school offered complete secondary course, since quality education was catered to the community. The cooperation of unity of the administration, teaching and non-teaching staff, students and parents really paid off for FHLA has been reaping success since then. Albeit the trials and hindrances that come way FHLA still continues to be a living example of an uncommercialized quality education. Francisco Homes Learning Academy expanded its services, Teacher Echel O. Simon-Antero as assistant principal in March 3, 2003.

Offering Special Science Class High School in June 2003 was a brainchild project of Teacher Echel. Achievements did not stop then, continuous expansion occurred and on March 3, 2004, Teacher Echel O. Simon-Antero was officially installed as the principal in the Basic Education Department. In June 2004, Francisco Homes Learning Academy turned to Francisco Homes College, Mr. Leonardo D. Simon as President, Prof. Estrella O. Simon as Vice President for Academic and BS Secondary Education with area of concentration: English, Mathematics, Physical Sciences with Dr.

Virgilio L. Baratang and Mrs. Lota Isles as Dean of College of Education and Dean of College of Nursing respectively. To address the pressing need of the community, the college offered additional course, Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (BS HRM) in June 2006 and Bachelor Of Science in Information Technology (BS IT) in June 2010. A committee, assigned by the administration, conducted surveys, consultations among all groups of school’s stakeholders for the change of the name of the school.
