“ Indeed your Lord is Allah, Who created the celestial spheres and the Earth in Six Days, and so He Istawa ( rose over ) the Throne ( truly in a mode that suits His Majesty ) . He brings the dark as a screen over the twenty-four hours, seeking it quickly, and ( He created ) the Sun, the Moon, the stars subjected to His Command. Surely, His is the Creation and Commandment. Blessed be Allah, the Lord of the Alameen ( world, jinns and all that exists ) ! ” [ Al A’raf: 54 ]

“ And has subjected to you all that is in the celestial spheres and all that is in the Earth ; it is wholly as a favour and kindness from Him. Verily, in it are marks for a people who think profoundly. ” [ Al Jatsiyah: 13 ]

Allah tells us in His Book that the stars are an adornment for the lowest Eden, that they help in pilotage on land and sea when it is dark, and that there is another sort of stars with which the Satans are pelted when they try to listen in on intelligence from Eden.
