Harmonizing to the correspondence theory, “ if a statement corresponds to reality so it is considered to be truth ” ( Hardy 32 ) . Because there are three other truth theories, many have the incorrect thought sing what truth is and how one can cognize it. The three other truth theories are matter-of-fact, coherency, and subjective, and through the usage of ground, one can find which 1 is the most logical.

To get down, the subjective theory of truth discerns that “ the single decides what is true and false based simply on his ain personal desires. ” In other words, there is no such thing as absolute truth and what is “ true for you might non be true for me ” ( Hardy 38 ) . Absolute truth is merely the construct that there is a cosmopolitan truth or “ a set of truths ” that exist and concern everyone ( Hardy 40 ) . In 2001, a survey was done to find how many Americans really believe in absolute truth, and the consequence was merely 38 % ( B.A. Robinson ) . Therefore 62 % of Americans believe relativism in respects to world, moralss, and even pluralism. However, behind every subjective truth, there is at least one absolute truth that can be discerned ( Hardy 40 ) . In any given state of affairs, sentiments can organize, but at that place has to be at least one indispensable truth in order for those sentiments to look. For illustration, if there is a auto accident and informants must state their versions of what occurred, each individual might recite the events that caused the accident a small spot otherwise. However, the one underlying absolute truth is that the accident did occur.

In respects to moral relativism, in order for person to state that something is good or evil, or, right or incorrectly, so he or she has to do an absolute truth claim. Under what criterion is something immoral? If truth is comparative, so one can follow their ain criterions and desires in respects to morality and there is no ground to reason at all. The moral deductions of relativism besides allude to puting the single above God and rejecting His sovereignty. Furthermore, one can non state that person is incorrect unless that individual knows what right is ( Hardy, 40-41 ) .

Harmonizing to Stand Your Ground by Dean Hardy, “ the sarcasm of relativism is that it is wholly self-defeating. Relativism can non even go through its ain trial for truth ” ( Hardy 40 ) . In respects to the stuff world, there are many ways to logically turn out the subjective theory false. For illustration if person declares that truth is comparative, all one has to make in answer is question whether or non that is an absolute truth ( Hardy 41 ) . Therefore, it is apparent that all truth claims are non inclusive. Truth must be “ sole, absolute and narrow, ” for an effort to include everyone will ne’er work ( Hardy 40-41 ) . Truth is besides trans-cultural, and it is discovered non invented. Besides, merely because person believes in something with all of his bosom and deepest strong beliefs, that does n’t do his belief true. This leads us into the treatment of pluralism and how all faiths can non be true ( Hardy 41 ) .

Pluralists argue in the analogy of the six blind work forces and the elephant that all six major faiths have a piece of the truth but are unable to see the large image. Harmonizing to this manner of thought, if all six faiths have a piece of the truth so they are all true. However, in doing this claim, the pluralist has to cognize the whole truth. Underneath all of the subjective truths, there is still one elephant that represents absolute truth: that there is one true faith. Therefore, in utilizing this analogy, pluralists claim the antonym of what they teach: that there has to be merely one religious and spiritual way. If one is to spot whether or non pluralism is true based on a logical point of view, so one can demo that all six major faiths teach antonyms. In Christianity, for illustration, redemption is achieved by religion entirely in Christ entirely. However in Hinduism, one achieves redemption by get the better ofing reincarnation with good plants. The two ca n’t both be true ( Hardy 39 ) .

Should we be disbelieving about everything?

Lord Byron one time said “ In short, I deny nil, but uncertainty everything. ” The inquiry of whether or non world is an semblance surely harps at the Black Marias of many. The political orientations of incredulity, idealism and pragmatism present ways to reply the inquiry of metaphysics and how one knows what is genuinely existent. We should most decidedly non be disbelieving about everything, for it is apparent that there is both a stuff and religious world.

There is most decidedly a difference between the physical being of a chair in the outside universe and the immaterial being of a chair inside one ‘s head. The two both portion the same “ kernel, ” for they both have legs, a back and a place for one to sit on. However, the two differ with being, for one is physically existent and the other is non ( Hardy 17 ) . In this state of affairs, an dreamer would believe that the lone existent chair would be the chair fabricated in his head. Therefore, the thought of the chair is more existent than the chair itself. A skeptic, nevertheless, would merely doubt the ability to turn out that a chair existed at all. Harmonizing to the skeptic, one ‘s senses are defective ( Hardy 18 ) .

Because I am a realist, I steadfastly believe that the computing machine I used to type this paper is existent and so are the thoughts that I have formulated in my head. Even though one can non turn out everything with 100 % certainty, it is still likely that anything can still be as existent. For illustration, one ca n’t turn out with 100 % certainty that Christianity is existent ( Hardy 3 ) . Although there are logical decisions and statements to turn out Christianity to be true, there is ever room for religion. One can non travel back in clip and physically turn out that Jesus existed, and this is why there is room for religion ( Hardy 3 ) . However, one can cognize anything with 100 % certainty. In respects to mathematics, one can cognize that the equation 2+2 will ever be 4. This is existent and one can cognize it for certain ( Hardy 15-16 ) . Dean Hardy provinces in Stand Your Ground that “ if we could non be certain if our statements and thoughts correspond to a existent thing, so there could be no such thing as truth or cognition ” ( Hardy 19 ) . So even though it is in our human nature to doubt things, such as Lord Byron did in the statement above, that does n’t intend that no cognition is absolute or that, nil is existent.

I do n’t believe that there is a God, is at that place any cogent evidence that He exists?

There are three chief statements that are used to turn out God ‘s being. They are the cosmogonic, teleological and moral statements. Each statement starts with certain presuppositions and so leads one into understanding that there must be an infinite God who exists outside of the existence. My favourite is the teleological statement because it proves that there must be a God based on the cognition that the existence is intelligently designed. The logical syllogism is as follows: “ Everything that has design has a interior decorator. The existence has design ; therefore the existence must hold a Designer ” ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 20 ) . In utilizing the regulations of logic and debate found in Stand Your Ground, this is a categorical syllogism where the decision of the statement is both true and valid ( Hardy 57-60 ) .

To get down, there are many ways to turn out that the existence has design. One of the most celebrated illustrations of this utilizes the construct of a ticker and a horologist. In world, a ticker is comprised of natural elements from the existence. However, a ticker has ne’er merely indiscriminately formed out in nature. Even if one were to line up all of the indispensable parts of the ticker together outdoors, one would cognize that the lone manner a ticker could work is if person intelligently constructed its parts together, and nature ca n’t make that! Therefore it is safe to state that “ nature randomizes and intelligence organizes ” ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 20 ) . In add-on, many use the survey of the anthropic rule to farther conclude that the existence must hold a interior decorator. The anthropic rule authorizations that our existence is designed so that even elusive alterations in its ambiance, O or C dioxide degrees would do drastic consequences. One such illustration is that the O degree must consist about 21 % our ambiance. If it was merely 15 % all life would smother and if it was 25 % all life would fire ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 20 ) . Besides, ne’er earlier has a scientist been able to build a life cell, for it contains about 1,000 volumes of encyclopaedic information ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 20 ) ! Furthermore, the construct of specified complexness serves to turn out that opportunity can non order the existence. In Apologetics category, the illustration of a group of monkeys typing a work of Shakespeare proves this point, for although they were given long periods of clip to sit in forepart of a computing machine screen with a work of Shakespeare beside them, none of them were able to type a complete work. This proves that clip added to opportunity will non equal order or even design. The point of this serves to turn out that the opportunity of the existence making itself is non merely unlogical but wholly unsound ( Hardy 90-91 ) . In order to turn out that the Designer from the teleological statement is the God of Christianity, the other three statements need to be used to match with the Bible ‘s instructions ( Hardy 100 ) .

Is the Bible simply fabulous narratives?

Many disbelievers feel that the Bible is a book of fabulous narratives and that its instructions are finally false and unsubstantial. However, even though I agree to some extent that the Bible includes both actual and nonliteral narratives, I would still reason that the Bible is inspired or “ God-breathed ” ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 3 ) . As 2 Timothy 3:16-17 provinces, “ All Bible is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for philosophy, for rebuke, for rectification, for direction in righteousness, that the adult male of God may be complete, exhaustively equipped for every good work. ”

First and first, the Bible is a historical book, which can be verified by past secular historical events. For illustration, the New Testament book Acts and the Old Testament books of Joshua, Ruth, Chronicles and 1st and 2nd Kings ( merely to call a few ) are all deemed historical books and pertain to existent events that occurred in the yesteryear. Therefore, the whole Bible can non be deemed fabulous ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 4 ) .

In add-on, there are many non-Christian beginnings that can be used to verify the instructions of the Bible as accurate in correlativity to events in history ( Hardy 114 ) . Harmonizing to Stand Your Ground by Dean Hardy, there are more non-Christian beginnings that promote Christ ‘s being than there are beginnings that discuss the being of Emperor Tiberius Caesar Augustus during the first century ( Hardy 117 ) . Noteworthy work forces including Roman historians Tacitus and Suetonis, the Roman governor Pliny the Younger and Jewish historian Josephus have all written histories about the being of non lone Christ but besides the truth to a batch of historical claims in the Bible ( Hardy 116-118 ) .

Besides, one of my favourite books of the Old Testament, Psalms, contains poesy. Even though one might reason that this book is fabulous, I would mention back to how many of the poetries in Psalms predict prognostication. For illustration, Psalm 22 predicts the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, how He was mocked on the cross and how many tempted Him to demo that He was the 1 and merely true God ( Henson, Judaism 16 ) . Above, I mentioned how many of the secular histories corroborating Christ ‘s being give reference to His decease under Pontius Pilate and His Resurrection ( Hardy 116-118 ) .The statement above proves that the Bible is internally consistent, something that could non merely be a digest of random fabulous narratives.

Last, to those who argue that “ the inundation was a foolish myth, ” and that God “ did non get down the first adult female with a rib, ” Jesus Christ confirmed the cogency of these events in the poetries of Matthew 24:38 and Matthew 19:4-5 ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology, 3 ) . In add-on, it is really bold for one to claim that all “ 66 books of the Bible, written by 40 different writers, on 3 different continents in 3 different linguistic communications over a period of 1500 old ages, ” is wholly fabulous ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology, 4 ) . Therefore, I believe that the book of the Bible is non a digest of fabulous narratives.

5. Why must God be an infinite being? Why ca n’t at that place be multiple Gods, and why ca n’t God be limited?

The common definition of the word space is “ holding no bounds ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 7 ) . ” However, a more appropriate definition when depicting God ‘s features of omnipotence, omnibenevolence, omniscience, ubiquity, eternalness and immutability is “ limitless flawlessness ( Hardy 75 ) . ” God must be an infinite being because He is causeless and outside of the existence. Because God is causeless, nil is doing Him to be and therefore He merely “ is who He is, ” or, He is pure actuality ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 7 ) . If nil is restricting God so God must be infinite and unable to miss ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 7 ) .

However, the constructs of free thought, maltheism, and finite Godism support the impression that God is a finite being, or a being that is “ limited in flawlessness ( Hardy 75 ) ” If God is a finite being, so something had to do Him to be, and if God had a cause, so He ca n’t be God. Therefore it is safe to state that one would hold to regress back in clip to happen an infinite being, which would so be called God ( Hardy 96-97 ) . Deists claim that God created the universe and everything in it, but so decided to allow the universe merely run on its ain. This implies that God is non almighty, for He lacks the ability to execute miracles, and that God is non omnibenevolent, for He lacks the ability to love and care for His creative activity ( Hardy 78 ) . In add-on, Maltheists claim that God is evil, but if He is omnibenevolent, He does n’t hold the possible to be evil. For God does non hold the possible to be anything other than who He is, and that is an all-loving, good being ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 7 ) . Last, finite Godists project the impression that God deficiencies and through the ground I ‘ve given above, it is impossible for God to miss or else He ‘d be finite.

In add-on to God ‘s inability to miss, Polytheists argue that there are many finite Supreme beings that rule the existence. However, it is true that something is distinguished by what it lacks instead than what it has. In order to separate these lesser Gods apart, one would hold to miss something the other God did n’t hold, and frailty versa ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 7 ) . If something deficiencies, so that something had a cause and hence can non be the infinite God of the existence ( Hardy 80 ) .

How make you cognize that the space being you believe in is the God of the Bible?

Harmonizing to Psalm 145:3, “ Great is the Lord and most worthy of congratulations ; His illustriousness no 1 can penetrate. ” There are many poetries in the Bible that prove the space being who created the existence must be the God of Christianity. As mentioned before, God is almighty, omnibenevolent, all-knowing, ubiquitous, and changeless. He is besides holy, relational, merely, and righteous ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 8-9 ) .

To get down, verse Matthew 19:26 provinces, “ The nazarene looked at them and said, ‘With adult male this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. ‘ ” This poetry shows how God is an all powerful being, something that adult male could ne’er be. Besides, one can see God ‘s love for adult male in Romans 5:8, which states “ But God demonstrates his ain love for us in this: While we were still evildoers, Christ died for us. ” The Lord sent down His lone boy so that our wickednesss could be forgiven and that we could hold ageless life if we choose to come to cognize Him. Next, Psalm 139: 1-2 provinces, “ O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise ; you perceive my ideas from afar. ” This shows how God is all cognizing. In add-on, God ‘s ubiquity can be shown thorough poetry Jeremiah 23:24 where the Lord inquiries, “ ‘Can anyone conceal in secret topographic points so that I can non see him… do non I fill heaven and earth? ” ‘ Last, the God of Christianity is changeless, which means that He is unable to alter ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 8 ) . In Malachi 3:6, the Lord states, “ I the Lord do non alter. So you, O posterities of Jacob, are non destroyed. ” These are merely a few illustrations that describe how the God of the existence must be the God of Christianity.

7. If there is a God and He is almighty, omni benevolent, and omniscient, why is at that place evil? I mean, if He created everything, so did n’t make evil?

In order to understand this inquiry, one should cite the beginning of Genesis when the Lord created both Adam and Eve. Genesis 2:16-17 provinces “ And the Lord God commanded the adult male, ‘You are free to eat from any tree in the garden ; but you must non eat from the tree of the cognition of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will certainly decease. ‘ ” Here, the Lord gave Adam an ultimatum. He gave him the pick to obey or disobey and He subsequently gave the same pick to Eve. Adam and Eve were created without original wickedness and therefore were perfect in the eyes of God. However, the Lord gave adult male the free will to perpetrate wickedness by taking immorality. In the narrative of Genesis, the snake was the tempter. He told Eve in Genesis 3:5 that “ aˆ¦God knows that when you eat of it you eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, cognizing good and evil. ” So now after reading this poetry, the inquiry becomes whether or non God created immoralities and if He did, why He created it.

God did non make immorality. However, God created a perfect universe where merely good existed, but because He gave adult male free will, evil came into the universe ( Hardy 106 ) . When people think of immoralities, many think of calamities, times of hardship, even slaying, nevertheless, they do bury that immorality is the deficiency of something, or as Thomas Aquinas called it, the “ want of a thing ( Hardy 106 ) . ” Evil is the deficiency of anything good. In Stand Your Ground by Dean Hardy, the illustration of a pail with a hole in it is considered to be evil for its gap causes it to miss ( Hardy 106 ) . When God created the universe, He basically had two picks: one was to make a universe where everyone was forced to be obedient to Him and the other was to give all of adult male sort the option to idolize Him or non ( Hardy 107-108 ) .

To further explicate, the autumn of adult male, which was the consequence of Adam and Eve ‘s first wickedness, enabled us to separate good from evil by the criterion which God created. One can utilize empiricist philosophy to infer that the universe we live in is full of enduring, disease, hurting, wrath, and grief ( merely to call a few. ) However, in order to understand why an omnibenevolent, omnipotent, all-knowing God would let these things to come in the one time perfect universe, one has to understand the importance of Satan and Satan ‘s desires. In Mr. Henson ‘s Christian Theology category I learned that “ Satan uses worlds to carry through his intents, but God uses devils to carry through His intents ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology, 14 ) . ” In all honestness, if there was n’t enduring and evil in the universe, would we of all time choose to prosecute an all-loving God? Would n’t you instead want to hold the pick to prosecute good or evil in this life, and learn from you experiences in times of enduring? Furthermore, do n’t we need to cognize what evil is in order to grok that an all-loving, merely God even exists? I steadfastly believe that God hurts when He sees His creative activity agony but do n’t those times of enduring conveying us closer to Him? God allowed evil to come in the universe so that His creative activity can come to cognize Him and pursue Him in a universe full of darkness.

The lone possible account of our being is natural choice.

In response to this statement, natural choice is merely one thought or construct sing our being in the existence. Another thought happens to be the construct of intelligent design as it pertains to the existence ‘s complexness. Debaters are in changeless dissension over the two and the statement is still highly prevailing in today ‘s society. However, in analyzing the construct of irreducible complexness, one can turn out that theory of evolution is false. The most celebrated evolutionist, Charles Darwin, even stated something along the lines of if irreducible complexness were to be proven true so development ca n’t be ( Hardy, Chapter 7 Notes ) .

The construct of irreducible complexness, which was formulated by Michael Behe, goes manus in manus with the teleological statement to turn out God ‘s being. The human cell is a complex construction made up of interdependent parts ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 20 ) . If even one of these parts were to be removed, the cell would discontinue to work. This disproves the construct of macro-evolution or the thought that minor alterations over clip have enabled drastic alterations to happen in a given species ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 21 ) . In Apologetics category I learned about another illustration sing irreducible complexness: the human oculus. In order for the human oculus to map, all of its interacting parts must be together. One can non claim to hold 25 % of an oculus, because that perfectly makes no sense! Gradual alterations over clip could non hold occurred because all of that organ ‘s parts would hold had to hold formed at the same clip. In add-on, another one of Darwin ‘s theories is gradualism or the impression that new traits signifier in the Deoxyribonucleic acid codification. However, scientist Gregor Mendel confirmed that our familial makeup is familial or produced by the preexistent traits of our parents ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 20 ) . Last, the construct of microevolution can even be used to back up the being of God. Harmonizing to Mr. Henson, “ a wise Creator would make flexibleness within the cistron pool to enable survival under any given environment, and to demo His artistic creativeness. This shows preplanning and intent, which implies design ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 21 ) . ”

What makes Jesus so different? What did He state that was so alone?

Verse John 1:35 provinces “ … John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, ‘Look the Lamb of God, who takes off the wickedness of the universe. ” Here one can to the full understand the importance of Christ ‘s forfeit for world and how He was more than merely a adult male. Jesus Christ is the prototype of the new compact God established with His people in the New Testament. Because Christ died for us, our wickednesss can be forgiven. He basically is the “ placation for our wickednesss, intending took our penalty for wickedness ” ( Henson, Christian Theology 3 ) .

In the New Testament, Jesus performed miracles, He was worshipped, He forgave wickednesss, He answered supplications, and although He was a adult male, He was without wickedness. Here one can see Jesus ‘ Godhead nature when He lived ( Henson, Christian Theology 15 ) . An illustration of Christ executing miracles is seen in Mark 1:25-26, which reveals: “ ‘Be quiet! ‘ said Jesus severely. ‘Come out of him! ‘ The evil spirit shook the adult male violently and came out of him with a scream. ” An illustration of Christ crying how He is the Son of God is seen in John 14:6 where “ Jesus answered, ‘I am the manner and the truth and the life. No 1 comes to the Father except through me. ” An illustration of Christ forgiving one ‘s wickednesss can be seen in Luke 7:48 which comments, “ Then Jesus said to her, ‘Your wickednesss are forgiven. ‘ ” In mention to prayer Jesus tells His adherents in Matthew 6:6, “ ‘But when you pray, go into your room, shut the door and pray to your Father, who is unobserved. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret will honor you. ‘ ” These all show how Jesus was a Divine Teacher who brought people to prosecute the unobserved God.

In response to those who believe that Jesus did non claim to be God but merely His boy, in poetry John 10:30 Jesus comments “ I and the Father are one. ” Throughout His life on Earth, it is recorded that Christ spoke many things and was more than merely a “ good ” adult male.

Why do Christians believe that there are three Supreme beings in one? Is n’t this Polytheism?

The construct of the Trinity holds that there are three individuals in one God. The ground why Christians believe that there are three individuals in one God is because God is a relational being. In utilizing the moral statement, one can infer that the Moral Law Giver ( the God of Christianity ) has to be moral and relational because non merely is He the criterion for right and incorrect but the construct of morality without relationships does non do sense ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 18 ) . For illustration, one can non lie to a stone or some inanimate animal. If one were to slap his desk or slap his small sister, which one would you see morally incorrect? Relationships are necessary in order for ethical motives to be. With that being said, If God is ageless, so He must be in an ageless relationship, which shows how God is non “ dependant on His temporal creative activity, ” for that would set bounds on Him ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 18 ) . Furthermore, if God is in an ageless relationship so He must be multi-personal, for He is the lone true, infinite God. The ground why relationships are so valuable for human existences is because we were created in the image of God ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 18 ) .

To further explicate the construct of the Trinity, within God there is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. All three “ ‘are of the same substance ‘ ” and are non separate from each other. John 1:1-2 provinces “ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. ” The accent of “ Word ” in the above poetry serves to stress how the Christ is God and was ever God from the beginning of clip.

The ground why the construct of the Trinity is non polytheism is because even though the three individuals within God are equal, they are “ economically distinguishable, ” which means that they serve different maps. The Father created the Earth, He is in charge over everything, while the Son is the “ go-between between God and adult male ” and in conclusion, the Holy Spirit convicts adult male of wickedness and immorality through guilt and shame ( Henson, Introduction to Christian Theology 21 ) .

What does a individual have to make to go a Christian? Why is it necessary? Could n’t you merely be “ good ” and acquire into Eden?

The ill-famed statement found in Ephesians 2:8-9 entails “ For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is non from yourselves, it is the gift of God – non by plants, so that no 1 can tout. ” Here it is apparent that Jesus Christ is the go-between between God and adult male and through His forfeit, world can come to salvation if they choose to idolize Him. In order to go a Christian, one has to to the full accept Christ as God ‘s Son and by idolizing Him, one can harvest ageless life.

In add-on, in order for one to truly know God and believe in Christ as the Savior of world, one has to populate a life devoted to God. This means, that one can non merely transgress on Monday and repent on Sunday in Church and claim himself a Christian. Christians need to set forth an enterprise to shy away from wickedness and larn to populate a life here on Earth devoted to God. Even though Ephesians 2:8-9 provinces that “ it is non by plants, ” I believe that if one truly knows God so those plants will grounds in his life through the power of the Holy Spirit.

In my sentiment, the above inquiry as to whether or non “ good ” people can acquire into Eden without believing in Christ is a riddle. For can anyone genuinely be good if the Holy Spirit is non working miracles inside of them? Can anyone genuinely be good if they do non cognize God, or if they do non claim Christ as their Savior? It is apparent that because God is omnibenevolent, His creative activity can non even seek to be “ good ” without holding God working someway miraculously in their lives. Believing in Christ is an indispensable for redemption, but because I am a Catholic, I believe that good plants are a direct by-product of religion in Christ and that for one to be “ good, ” God has to be inside of them.

Where are you at in your religious journey?

When I was 12 old ages old, I lost my aunt to breast malignant neoplastic disease and due to a household dissension, I besides lost my “ favourite ” cousins. I had merely graduated from 5th class and I merely could n’t understand why JoAnne and Gerard were no longer a portion of my life. As I type this, I can retrieve all of the times we shared: self-generated sleepovers, watching the pyrotechnic show that they put on every Fourth of July, every individual Christmas Eve that I can retrieve, all of the “ tickle wars ” that I ne’er seemed to win, and the times when we would swim all twenty-four hours in their backyard pool. I ne’er knew what it was like to lose person you truly loved and cared for with all of your bosom or what it would be like to ne’er see them or hear from them once more. I lost my two role-models, the people that I looked up to and could ne’er wait to see. However, even through this painful experience, I ‘ve ne’er shut God out of my life wholly. Through the difficult old ages, I ever prayed to God to non merely assist me understand why this was go oning but besides for my cousins that I no longer cognize. This experience ne’er brought me truly shut to God, it sort of kept me at bay even though I ne’er wholly shut Him out of my life.

However while I tried to barricade this experience from my head and move on, hardship entered my life in a wholly, different unexpected manner. The first twenty-four hours of my second-year twelvemonth of high school, my female parent had a shot, and from this experience I learned how of import my household was in my life. From this point on, I feel as though my religion has grown enormously, non merely because I ‘ve grown in a Christian environment but because God used these experiences to assist me come to cognize Him. Even though I ca n’t truly explicate how, I know that God works in cryptic ways, particularly in my life and He has so many things planned for me. The experience with my ma shocked our household and made us recognize that we were disregarding God for earthly desires. When all of this was go oning, I wholly detested of all time traveling to Charlotte Christian, but i know that God made everything go on the manner it did because it has made me a stronger adult female in my religion and personal journey with the Lord.

Even now, these past few months, I ‘ve been seeking to hold a new relationship with my cousins but because all of this clip has passed, I do n’t even cognize where to get down. I pray to God every dark about how I can cognize them once more, even though I know it wo n’t of all time be the same. Right now a batch of alteration is traveling to go on for me and even though it has been hard I candidly have put all of my religion in cognizing that God knows what ‘s best for me. I ‘m reading book called “ God Always has a Plan B, ” and it has merely been assisting me get through college rejections and credences. I have no thought where I am traveling to stop up, but I know that God has decidedly made it clear where He does non desire me to travel.

I have wholly accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and I try every twenty-four hours to populate harmonizing to God ‘s program. I know that I ‘m non perfect and I have many mistakes, but I know that God sees my strengths and endowments for I ‘m created in His image. After holding the chance to take categories such as Christian Theology and Apologetics, I feel as though my religion has been challenged and I ‘m glad that I am able to oppugn and non be afraid. I have had uncertainties enter my head of class, but they have merely served to do my religion stronger. I do n’t cognize where I would be today if I did n’t hold God actively working my life. I do n’t understand how some people can populate everyday and non experience like there ‘s something out at that place that ‘s greater than we could of all time be. As one chapter in my life comes to an terminal, I know that my religious journey will go on to go a larger portion of me.

Even though I have had painful experiences, God has blessed me with the ability to take Him and walk with Him everyday.
