Company description: We are a high tech communications company that provides high speed internet to small businesses across the United States. We market to small businesses that do not have high speed internet in order to help them improve the operations of their business.
Job Description:
Develop and implement marketing strategies that will increase customer base while also reducing cancellations.
Identify, develop and manage a variety of different sales channels from a wide range of small business venues.
Create sales predictions based on each channel.
Travel to potential customers to market the product.
Provide leadership to sales and marketing department in order to improve existing products as well as develop new and innovative products.
Manage sales and marketing department in order to maximize profit.
Manage communication to existing customers to keep them informed regarding new products as well as changes and upgrades to high speed internet services.
Develop innovative ideas to keep the product highly competitive in the high speed internet market.
Manage sales and marketing department in order to develop creative advertising solutions that allows the company to remain competitive.
Lead the creation of public relations to present a positive perception of Speed of Light Communications to small businesses through effective advertising.
Provide leadership to all members of the sales and marketing department.
Maintain excellent communication with the President of Sales and Marketing.
Implement effective organizational methods within the sales and marketing department.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in sales, marketing or a related field.
Ten years experience leading sales and marketing in a management capacity.
Experience in the high speed internet field.
Experience selling high speed internet products.
Experience collaborating with small businesses or other entities.
Strong understanding of computers and high speed capability.
Possess experience and knowledge of best practices in sales and marketing.
Strong communication skills.
The ability to maintain a reliable and highly effective sales and marketing team.

1 position available starting April 1, 2009.
This is a permanent position.
Salary range $75,000 – $100,000 depending upon education and experience.
Benefits package includes medical, dental, vision and 401K.
Hours will vary.
Some travel is required.
