My job title has been a nurse for 20 years and I have earned a MBA degree in healthcare management. Further details of my skills, capabilities and experiences are mentioned below.

With my previous work experience, I gained the knowledge of laws and regulations that are applicable to the medical sector. I make sure that the executive orders being given to me are being followed ensuring to follow the instructions of my managers and accomplishing them within the time period assigned to me. As I am in this field since two decades, I am also fully aware of the agency HR rules, regulations, policies and procedures as well as the issues pertaining to staffing, recruitment and placement. With my previous nursing experience, I have the skills of hiring the right kind of candidate for the right position. And then further train them so that they not only suit their jobs well but can also enhance the level of their performance. (Shi, 2006).

Furthermore, I have an ability to provide guidance and consultative services to managers on a variety of human resources functions. To define human resources in the simplest words we can say that they are the “resources for humans” within the workplace. The basic function of the HR department is to achieve its targets when they meet the organizational needs and to fulfill the needs of the people working for that company. It also serves as a connection between all the people who are involved and I can meet both these targets well and can effectively establish and maintain working relationships with a wide range of personnel within the agency as well as with other agencies.

In the end, I would also like to mention that the skills mentioned above are not just the only skills that are important for a job, however one also needs to have thinking and creativity skills that would help to resolve various kinds of staffing issues that occur in the organization.

I do this by making my own recommendations or giving solutions in order to solve the matter. Creativity can be used for the purpose of economic development at work and everywhere but the resources available to us in the world are limited but the demands of the people are unlimited. Creative ideas only come in such case when our resources are restricted and as a popular saying of an economist and a social philosopher says that “Invention is the mother of necessity.” (The Quotations page, n.d.). However, time and budget can limit creativity but I can handle that these two factors well.
