Yet while it evidently is a great ad run, and great music to boot, it seems to me to be a awful indictment of both our society and ourselves. That commercial Tells us that the lone manner to happiness, that the lone manner to fulfillment, that the lone manner to life is by populating for ourselves, by plunging ourselves in things, by populating a life that is wholly centered upon ourselves.
But the cross of Christ, that cardinal symbol of our religion, presents a really different position of life.
