This bridge was built in 206 BCE in Rome, crossing the Tiber, byGaius Claudius Nero, one of the consuls for that year.
The bridge was demolished and replaced by Marcus Aemilius Scaurusin 155 BCE. This is still the last version of the Ponte Milvio, andit is still standing today, although it has had numerousrenovations.
