Which sequence shows development in mesopotamia

All I know of is first, they had to move out of the foothills and onto the plains because of an uncontrolled food supply. Then they built an irrigation system (levees, dams, reservoirs, canals) to control their shortage of water. I forget the next one but the one after that is that they built moats and stone walls to protect against attacking communities. The one that I forget might be building a larger community… Not sure, so don’t take my word for it.
