During this time a mathematician named Aryabhatta discovered the first four decimal places of Pi. Astronomers proposed the theory that the Earth was round and they also proposed the theory of gravity. They found out about different planets and started making horoscopes for planet positions.
Algebra developed greatly and the concepts and the concepts of zero and infinity were formed. The symbols for the numbers one to nine were created and later became Hindu Arabic numerals. During the Gupta dynasty the mathematics was more complex then anywhere else.
The architecture, art and Sanskrit literature were also at “the peak of excellence”. Many important buildings and temples were constructed during that time. They also created many sophisticated gold and silver coins.
