The Persians had to retriet. The Greeks destroyed the Persian bridge but kept a peice for a trophy. With Persia out of their homland the Spartans and Athenians teamed up once more to defeat the Persians. The war lasted 3 years intill the Athenian/Spartan Army defeated Persia!
