What made the Assyrian empire so powerful

Itevolved from the Akkadian Empire of the late 3rd millennium BC.About 1,000 years before Hammurabi’s reign, the Assyriancivilization rose to power in Mesopotamia. There are twomain reasons why the Neo-Assyrian Empire became so powerful between934 – 610 B.C. First, through this era, the power of Assyria waslargely dependent on the success of its army.
