What did ancient spartan girls do

Almost all the same as the boys. Sparta is the first known Faction(was more a Kingdom rather a City-State as as most of Helleniccities) in the ancient world that women had significant libertiesin comparison with other Hellenic or non-Greek cities. Atchildhood, they would take part on the gymnasium along with theboys and be taught writing, reading, military education, music,poetry, gymnastics and dance. They would be naked during thegymnasium period and were also directed to discourage and humiliateboys on their training. Later as teens, they would assume theirrole as being the mothers of brave soldiers.
