What was Caesar Augustus’s personality like

he was a cruel violent leader But only in his youth and this was in order to gain his objectives. Once he came into power he became a model citizen, a master politician, and a true reformer. He was not only honored with the title Augustus, but in 2 BC was further rewarded with the title “Pater Patria” which means “father of the country”. As a person, he was witty, hard working, and had sympathy for slaves against cruel masters, as proved by the story of the broken crystals.
