If I had to choose my favorite season it would be very difficult choice. All four seasons are unique in their own special way, such as the climate, scenery, and activities. Although I enjoy the warmer months of summer, I also enjoy the cooler months of winter. In a sense, I have narrowed my favorite seasons down to two; summer and winter. The biggest difference between summer and winter is the climate. One of the main attractions of summer is the warm weather. I like being outside on a bright sunny day, and letting the sun warm my body.

I also like that we get an occasional thunder storm. The excitement fills the air when I see the thunder clouds rolling in. The sound of thunder, and the lighting shows that come from the storms are fascinating. On the other hand winter is as amazing. The cold air is refreshing, and the snow is the most wonderful creation of nature. Every tree, house, and yard seems so beautiful covered in powder white snow. Not only is the climate diverse between these two seasons, but also the landscape colors are unlike each other. When I think of summer, I think of color, color, everywhere.
I think of the soft blue skies, and a gentle breeze whispering through the green trees. The flowers are in full bloom, and bursting with every color imaginable. The sun is striking with its bright yellow color, which seems to go on forever. However winter may not have as many colors, it is equally as beautiful. With winter comes these huge crystal white snowflakes, and calming gray skies. Also numerous trees keep their eye catching green color. In addition the holly bush also stays dark green, and is covered with bright red berries. Also both seasons are full of fun, and entertaining activities.
Soon as summer arrives, I like taking a trip to the beach. The first thing that I like to do when I arrive at the beach is to get my feet wet. Then I grab my snorkels and swim out to the rocks, where I like to look for colorful fish. I also enjoy searching for seashells, and fishing from the piers. Summer is also a good time to have a barbeque and eat watermelon. Of course, it wouldn’t be summer without the Fourth of July celebration. I always walk down the street from my house to watch the parade. Later in the evening, I’ll find somewhere to watch fireworks.
Like summer; winter can also be a lot of fun. Snow is always the best part of winter. With snow I can build a snowman, have a snowball fight, and go sleighing through the snow. The month of December brings a special holiday, “Christmas. ” Christmas is a joyful and blessed holiday. It is time where family, and friends come together to celebrate the birth of Christ. Although these two seasons are diverse in many ways, I could never choose one season over the other. From the warm days of summer, to the cold winter air, both seasons are equally beautiful.
