This movie stars Ferris Bueller, a sickening high school student who feels that he doesn’t want to go to school that day so he decides to fake being sick to fool his parents into letting him stay home. His parents are nice and caring people who would never think that their son would lie and believe his horrible sick acting. He gets his girlfriend Sloan Peterson out of school by calling in to falsely report that one of her family members had died.

He also gets his friend Cameron, who actually is sick, to join him and Sloan for a day in Chicago before they go off to different colleges. Two people rightfully don’t believe Ferris’ story: his sister and the Dean of Students. Ferris and friends take Cameron’s father’s car and go to a baseball game, visit the Sears tower, the Art Institute of Chicago, and a parade where Ferris jumps onto a float and just starts lip synching to a song that is playing and no one recognizes him or worries about the strange man that jumped onto a float out of nowhere.

At the end of the day, Ferris and Cameron try to roll back the odometer on the car and manage to completely total it, sending Cameron into a catatonic rage after which, he tries to drown himself, only being stopped by Ferris. Ferris only has a few minutes to run home before his lie is found out. He manages to get back while narrowly avoiding his parents and no one else is the wiser to his massive lie. Ferris Bueller is a despicable human being.
