We do not know the personal names of people living in the Stone Age as they left no written records. However, archaeologists give names to different groups of people who lived in the period based on the things they left behind. These are called “cultures”.
Some examples of names given to these cultures include Linearbandkeramik (named from their pots, which have a particular pattern of lines on) from and Ertebolle culture from Denmark.
