After the person has died, they pull all of there main organs out give the person a salt bath for 48 days so it will petrify its self. After 48 days, they would dry them out and wrap them in cloth. then they would place them in coffin like shells that held them that usually had paintings or pictures of animals on it. If they were important or worshiped they were usually placed in a tomb with their belongings and other items or even alive people and then were sealed in the tomb to protect the person in the crossing to the after life. then they were weighed by their heart, and however heavy or light their heart determined were they would go in the after life.
