It is already legal. What you share on P2P, or even a Web browser, may be illegal, but you can legally share anything you own the rights to just as you can upload your own photos, pictures, videos, music, etc. to various Web sites. Generally speaking, the CD/DVD/book you bought in a store can’t be legally shared, although there are cases where the owner/artist has released it to the public. A search on the title and artist/writer will tell you more. In other cases, the title is so old or unknown that the rights to it can no longer be enforced or are not actively enforced. In the end, what’s legal or not depends on what is being shared, but the software, like the Internet itself, is legal.

Personal Opinions, Tips, & Experiences Answer i think that peer-to-peer sharing should be illegal. when you download music for free then you are taking money from that artist. that is their only source of income in most cases. so if you are downloading or sharing this music then you are basically stealing their job from them. Answer I think p2p should be made legal. I personally use it to test programs and games properly. If I like it, then I will buy it. I think the government should stop fighting against it!
