How they traslete the Rosetta stone

The Rosetta Stone contains three copies of the same text inHieroglyphics, Demotic, and Greek. Since Greek was a widely knownlanguage, it allowed for the translation of the EgyptianHieroglyphics, which were unknown at the time of discovery of thestone tablet.
