The Harappan civilization consisted of a group of nomadic people coming from middle Asia. They settled in places next to the rivers, Indus, Sutlej, Beas and Chenab. They were a highly religious society and worshipped nature. the worshipping of amulets was also present. unlike present day people worship did not take place in temples. the Harappans practised the grid system of planning of cities where roads diverged at 90 degree angles and an an aerial view of the city would look like the observing of grids. this is not present in modern day civilizations. the Harappan civilization being an ancient civilization varied from present day by culture and tradition and lack of facilities.
