Why was tombs built

Tombs were built because Pharoah’s tombs were constantly robbed. Earlier, Pharoahs were buried in simple structures, and although many rooms were built to protect them, the tombs were still robbed. The Pharoahs were afraid taht the robbers would ruin their tombs, therefore, pyramids were built. The theives would still enter the pyramids, even though the entrances were closed. The Pharoahs decided to set traps and curses for theives inside the pyramids.
