Arguably, the most famous three pyramids in the world are the ones at the Giza Plateau, which I have been lucky enough to actually see myself. (And go in the middle one and on the Great one, but I won’t brag!) The first one, The Great Pyramid, was the grandest, apparently, and housed the mummified corpse of the pharaoh Khufu, or Cheops. The second one, which looks the largest but is actually just built on higher ground, belonged to that of Kephren. The last, smallest one was that of Mankaure’s. (Also Menkaura) There were three smaller pyramids near this one, apparently belonging to his wife.
