According to legend, Romulus and Remus were raised by a she wolf until they were found by a sheperd. When they were older, they each wanted to build a city. On top of Palestine Hill they fought, and Romulus struck Remus in the head causing him to die. Romulus founded Rome and made it a great and powerful city attracting many people.
