Yes, Nubians are of African- Black descendant and currently live in lower Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, and Kenya. The term Nubian is also a very broad word used to describe black people in Eastern Africa and North Eastern Africa. Also, Nubians formerly lived in Northern Egypt but for the most part have moved to the lower regions (mostly involuntarily and because of multiple political reasons). The former Nubian territory existed where Egypt and Sudan currently exist. Colonization and changes in government in the past 2-5 centuries are the main reasons for the renaming of countries and racial distribution and/or segregation of people (mainly between African Arabs and African Blacks).
