Most likely not. The cavemen were probably around from 20,000 BCE to 10,000 BCE. They were hunters-and-gatherers, based on the drawings they left behind. These were essentially nomadic-people who hunted animals and followed the herds so thy would not starve in the winter. The cavemen were probably around when an ice bridge formed. This bridge was called Beringia. Some of the cavemen followed animal herds over Beringia, formed between present-day Siberia and Alaska. This is why there were human civilizations in both the western and eastern hemispheres by the 4,000 BCE time period.
Feel free to look it up on google; new knowledge about the EXACT time periods (which I only roughly estimated) is constantly being found, and is probabl more accurate than my limited knowledge.
