1) Throughout Mesopotamia, the Sumerians would often trade theirgoods, which in turn spread their culture.
2) In grander schemes, dyansties were first practiced with theSumerians, then spread out through many cultures. Militarycommanders would command the Sumerian army only when their was war;however, when war became more and more frequent, the commanderswere kep in control of the army, and in time, military leadersbecame full time leaders, and would hand their power on from fatherto son and to their heirs. A single strand of a ruling family iscalled a dynasty. Throughout time, dynasties canstill be observed.
