The little Ice Age spanned from 1400 AD – 1800 AD and had an average drop of 2-3 deg C. This caused the crop seasons to become shorter with harsher winters and shorter summers. Side note: A real ice age is an average drop of about 7-10 deg and would have much worse effects. Immagine 1/3 of Europe being wiped out today from an ice age. That would be 244 million people.
