Caesar pushes away the crown handed to him by Marcus Antonius (Antony if reading story of Julius Caesar) because he had Antony plan to give him the crown and turn it away because the people of Rome didn’t want a King/Dictator and Caesar wanted the crowd to cheer for him. But the plan was for Antony to try a second time and Caesar would take it, but Caesar was worried the crowd would get upset if he took it the 2nd time so he denied it again and on the third time he wanted to take the crown badly but was worried about how he’d look in front of the people.
