An important feature of Mohen-jodaro was a 24 sq.metre pillaredhall.It had 5 rows and 4 pillars in each row.Kiln-baked bricks wereused to construct the pillars.Probably,it was the Assembly Hall orthe ruler’s court or it may have been housed the municipal officein charge of town planning and sanitation.
