It seems that the existence of the Roman Empire with its lawsrather favored the growth of Christianity in the first century. Itis true that in many cases there were persecutions of Christians, but these persecutions favored that the Christian people dispersedby the empire carrying with them their teachings . The universalityof the language of the time also favored this fact. When the Romanemperors wanted to agree with the church, true Christianity wasperverted and the false doctrines that many religions practicedtoday were born.
