Your doe will wander away from the herd to find a quiet place to kid. She will most likely be uncomfortable and stretch, yawn and get up/lie down a lot. The doe may start staring into space and stretching her head around to her side to “talk” to her kids. When it gets much closer, she will start having discharge that looks stringy and clear and will probably (not always) lie down to push. You can also tell by feeling for ligaments by the tail–when these ligaments are very soft, kidding is within 12 hours.
